Fun fact: Body of Evidence was the first book I read in the Triple Threat series. I actually ended up reading the books in reverse order (oops). Thankfully, all of Irene Hannon's books are written as stand-alones, so I didn't get any spoilers. This is the third and final book of the Triple Threat series. If you loved Point of Danger and Labyrinth of Lies, Body of Evidence will be perfect for you.
Plot Summary
As a forensic anthropologist, Grace Reilly has been exposed to some unique deaths. When the stomach contents of two unrelated autopsies contain the same seeds, she brings it up to the new sheriff, Nate Cox. While at first he's skeptical, evidence surfaces to show that her suspicions aren't unwarranted.
As Grace and Nate uncover more clues, it becomes clear they're dealing with a calculating and cunning killer. Killers never like to be caught and this one is willing to take extreme measures if it means getting away with multiple murders. If they hope to exact justice, they'll have to find whoever this is before the last life is taken.

Personal Thoughts
I loved Grace and her perky personality! She's the bubbliest out of the three Reilly girls, which showed in the previous books, and she was passionate about her job, though chagrined that it deterred most eligible bachelors.
Nate was a good guy who genuinely cared about the people in his sphere and those he came in contact with through his job. He didn't drag out his relationship with Becky and cut to the chase with his attraction to Grace, which I liked. No dilly-dallying, no drama, just a feel-good romance.
As usual, the plot held my attention. I didn't know who the murderer was until the great unveiling. Then I was shocked. I had a love-hate relationship with the details about the autopsies and Grace's job. On one hand, it made the story feel realistic and I could tell the author did her research. On the other hand, I got squeamish over details such as sieving stomach contents. Then again, I have an issue with medical stuff in general, so this may be more of a me problem!
Like in the previous two books, the side plot tied in with the case. I felt bad for Dave even though he made poor choices. He was being blackmailed into committing crimes and he couldn't see a way out of it. Rather than detracting from the main plot, I felt like it added to it.
