Last To Fall is the third book on the Gossamer Falls series by Lynn H. Blackburn. Those who have read Never Fall Again and Break My Fall are aware of Mo and Bronwyn’s tense relationship. In this book, you get all the answers! If you enjoyed the rest of the books in the series, you will love Last To Fall.

Plot Summary

When Brownwyn Pierce, CEO of the exclusive resort The Haven, finds suspicious financial activity, she reaches out to the only person who can help her. Forensic account and ex-Army intelligence Mo Quinn hopes that as he digs through Bronwyn's accounts she and him will find a way to overcome their tumultuous past. But their history shadows their every interaction and there's no indication she's ready to take the first step in reconciliation.

When an attempt on Bronwyn's life is made and her family's suspicious activity comes to light, Mo vows to do everything he can to protect her. But the Pierce's criminal activity runs deeper than either of them knows. Mo and Bronwyn will have to hold fast to each other and work together if they hope to expose crimes that threaten her life.

Personal Thoughts

Ever since I started reading the Gossamer Falls series, I wanted to know what was going on between Mo and Bronwyn and why they weren't speaking! The suspense was almost too much to bear. But Blackburn answered all my questions in this book.

Mo and Bronwyn's relationship is complicated, but they take the time to work things out and forgive each other for things they did in the past. The case itself was also intense. There were so many times I wanted to throttle the Pierce clan. Overall it was a satisfactory end to a wonderful series.
