However, the wandering lifestyle is starting to wear on Katie, and as she seizes the opportunity to learn more about her Scottish roots, she grows aware of her lack of belonging and begins to yearn for a home of her own ... and someone to share it with. Personal Thoughts
I'm always up for anything Scottish. Some Like It Scot contained so much Scottish stuff and I learned some new things about Scotland, including what a hairy coo was (google it; they're cute little guys). Graeme and Katie's inner dialogue was lovely and while they didn't want to get involved with each other at first, that quickly changes! Humor was prevalent and all of Katie's misadventures had me in stitches. The message in the story was subtle, not preachy, and provided some depth to the story. I will definetely read this again.
