We've all heard The Twelve Days of Christmas, where a true love gives his love a bunch of unusual gifts. Well, this post is similar to that, but instead of weird gifts, it's twelve authors with the appropriate number of titles per entry. A bookish Twelve Days of Christmas!
So, here it goes!

3 Katherine Reays
I never realized what emotion fiction meant until I read Katherine Reay. If you like literary fiction, you'll love her books. Her characters undergo intense change and by the end of the story, they're always a better version of themselves. While they all have flaws, they're likable and seem like real people. I'm always sad to leave them.

4 Becky Deans
While Becky Dean writes YA fiction, adults can also enjoy these rom-coms. Dean writes some of the best banter I've ever read and though her books aren't Christian fiction, they are clean.

9 Melanie Dickersons
Melanie Dickerson is amazing at taking an ordinary fairy tale and turning it into a wonderful novel. While I'm not a huge fan of the medieval time period, I enjoy her novels, including the bits about castles and knights. I love her spunky heroines and watching her characters battle evil villains.

10 Dani Pettreys
Dani Pettrey's suspense is laced with romance and redemption arcs. While the characters dodge bullet and bring the bad guys to justice, they're finding romance and healing from past hurts. I don't think there's a book of hers I don't like. They're all wonderful and engrossing.
